The St. Louis Storytelling Festival is expanding its UMSL Story Slam by partnering with the St. Louis 10 and sponsoring four of its events in January, February, March and April. If you'd like to be invited to tell your story, please visit the St. Louis 10 Events page on Facebook and get involved. To get an idea of the stories told at the St. Louis 10 events, visit the St. Louis 10 YouTube Channel.
The performances will be videotaped and streamed through this website, where visitors can vote for their favorite.

The top vote getter will be awarded:
Voting for the UMSL Story Slam will occur April 9-20, 2012. Anyone can vote. Voters can only vote once. The winner will be emailed and will be posted on this website. (Note: After voting, you'll be taken to a page where you'll need to scroll down to see the results.)
Rules
- Stories shouldn't exceed 10 minutes.
- Stories must be true, but can be about anything. They can be funny, personal, historical, scary, environmental or dramatic.
- Anyone in the metropolitan St. Louis area can participate, including UMSL students, faculty and staff.
